Preserving the Igbo Cultural Heritage
The Igboland Archaeological Research Project is a multidisciplinary initiative dedicated to expanding systematic archaeological knowledge across the Igbo region of southeastern Nigeria.
The project aims to reconstruct Igbo cultural history, investigate long-term human–environment relationships, and document artistic and technological traditions within their broader historical and environmental contexts.
